About Michelle

A detail-oriented brand and product designer with over 10 years of experience creating intuitive, visually appealing designs. Michelle is a thoughtful, collaborative leader who inspires teams, designs innovative solutions, and helps brands visually weave their stories. She takes a holistic approach to design, focusing on crafting engaging interactions that improve user satisfaction and drive success.

Michelle is the founder of Palette Design, where she offers brand and product design services to clients nationwide. In the past, she has worked at non-profit, fintech, education, real estate, and start-up industries which gives her a diverse perspective when working on projects.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from George Mason University and a UX Certificate from Nielsen Norman Group. When not designing, she enjoys exploring museums, national parks, baking, and reading classic and mystery books.

Indie Book Author

In 2018, I wrote, designed, and published a book called “Inside Fandoms and Conventions" as a guide to fans and first time comic con goers. Whether you’re a fan or simply trying to understand what motivates a fan, you will find valuable information in this book.

Traveler

Every since I was young, I’ve always been curious about the world. One of my bucket list is to see an elephant! This was at "Elephant Sanctuary" in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Despite their size, the elephants were adorable and gentle. So far, I’ve been to 15 countries and counting!

Taekwondo

I learned basic Taekwondo with my friends in Seoul. It requires a lot of energy and kicking, but it was still such a fun experience! Taekwondo's philosophy focuses on discipline, perseverance, and self-improvement. I gained a lot from this experience.
